What is MELT?
MELT uses therapeutic small treatment balls and soft body rollers to rebalance your nervous system and rehydrate your connective tissue. MELT focuses on the Neuro-fascial system which has been overlooked by modern medical practitioners. Recent scientific research, bolstered by advanced microscopy, shows us that this is the body's system which supports, protects and stabilizes our muscles, bones and joints. It has also been found that this system becomes dehydrated from age and use. Here is where MELT helps you!

are the ideal way to experience the changes MELT can bring to your body.  Whether you're training for a triathelon/race or a 9-to-5er who struggles to make it to the gym, a senior with arthritis or someone whose body seems to be changing over time, Gentlework USA's Advanced MELT Trainer Karel  will create personalized self-care MELT MAPS for you to free you from pain and keep doing activities you have always loved.

CLASSES

offer a sampling of self-treatment techniques using the MELT SOFT BODY ROLLER and the MELT HAND AND FOOT Therapeutic TREATMENT Balls. Doing weekly classes, you'll see and feel a difference in your body from the first time onward.   We have been teaching MELT longest in Bergen County and understand the nuances of  the Method f all body types.

WORKSHOPS /SERIES 
with Gentlework USA
are focused on specific populations, athletic activities, and medical issues--Seniors, Runners, Post-Partum and during Pregnancy, and Fibromyalgia and more. Results are typically seen and felt during the workshop. If your organization, club, religious institution or school wants to develop such a workshop on site, we work together with your group to help your members and raise funds at the same time!

are an opportunity for you to have a gathering of your friends,  an innovative party, or a family get together with a theme that no one else has done!  
Let everyone learn the MELT Hands and Foot Treatment Technique and good BODY ROLLER TECHNIQUE and go home with his or her own MELT kit. Call us for our reasonable rates. Is MELT like yoga, Feldenkrais, Pilates, or physical therapy?
No. MELT is unlike any other technique because it addresses an entirely different system of the body. MELT is to the Neuro-fascial system (nervous and connective tissue systems) what all other forms of exercise are to the musculoskeletal system. The science of the Neuro-fascial system is being introduced to the health and fitness arena for the first time by Sue Hitzmann and MELT.

What do I wear and bring to a MELT class or session?
That's easy! Wear comfortable clothing, thin socks or bare feet. Bring a water bottle and a yoga mat. For those who cannot get on the floor, we will provide a chair. Just let us know. 
We provide the Soft Body Rollers and Specialized MELT therapeutic treatment balls for class, though many students like to bring their own set and roller.
