Gentlework USA
featuring the MELT METHOD
for Pain Relief and Increased Flexibility

What is MELT?
The M.E.L.T.* Method (MELT) uses specially created small balls and soft rollers to rebalance your nervous sytem and rehydrate your connective tissue. MELT focuses on the Neuro-fascial system which has been overlooked by modern medical practitioners.

Now, recent scientific research, bolstered by advanced microscopy, shows that this is the body's system which supports, protects and stabilizes our muscles, bones and joints.  It has also been found that this system becomes dehydrated  from age and use.

Here is where the MELT Method helps you.  Advanced instructors certified in the MELT METHOD from Gentlework USA will teach you these simple techniques.

Has MELT been reviewed by experts?
Yes, MELT has been reviewed by internationally respected doctors, neuroscientists, and connective-tissue researchers, including Ben Domb, M.D: Tom Myers; Bill Hedley, Ph.D. ; Robert Schleip, Ph.D.; and Jean Pierre Barral, D.O.  Each expert has recognized that MELT is grounded in scientific principles and offers extraordinary benefits.

Who can do MELT?
MELT is for anyone who wants to slow down the aging process and live better, longer.  MELT is a must for everyone in their 30s through the 80s, who wants to stay active, mobile and independent. It is for active athletes of any age including the youngest ones who want to maintain a fit, balanced body to achieve optimal performance without debilitating wear and tear.  MELT is also helping those who are experiencing neurological or autoimmne issues, and helping those who have been injured.

Is MELT like yoga, Feldenkrais, Pilates, or physical therapy?
No. MELT is unlike any other technique because it addresses an entirely different system of the body. MELT is to the neurofascial system (nervous and connective tissue system) what all other forms of exercise are to the musculoskeletal system. The science of the neurofascial system is being introduced to the health and fitness arena for the first time by Sue Hitzmann and MELT.

What do I wear and bring to a MELT class or session?
That's easy! Wear comfortable clothing, thin socks or bare feet. Bring a water bottle and a yoga mat. For those who cannot get on the floor, we will provide a chair. Just let us know.
We provide the Soft Foam Rollers and Specialized MELT METHOD balls for class, though many students like to bring their own set and roller.
